The Steuben Parade Committee is super pleased to have Michaela as Princess for the 60th Parade and we know she will again be a super representative with her winning smile.
Michaela resides in Greeley, Pennsylvania and is currently a sophomore at Susquehanna University pursuing a degree in Public Relations. Growing up in a German-American household has exposed Michaela to many of the traditions, holidays and of course the culture that she so identifies with. It has always been a dream to be conversational in German. With the first year of German studies behind her and enrolled in year two, Michaela is looking forward to traveling to Germany in the near future.
The many friendships that have resulted from Michaela‘s involvement with the 16298542_10154227132157555_8346729771716480844_nGerman-American Steuben Parade mean the world to her. In particular, Michaela loved meeting the Groups from Overseas with their authentic regional costumes, traditional music and traditional dance. These are the perfect opportunities to not only learn more about German culture but also to teach our guests about the fun and vibrant German community that exists in the NYC area.
Congratulations Michaela on your dedication to the German-American Steuben Parade and enjoy every minute of the 2017 Parade season!
