Due to COVID 19 there will be no Gala in 2021. We hope to resume our annual fundraising Gala and Silent Auction in 2022.
The German American Steuben Parade Committee holds a Fundraising Gala to support the Parade. The Gala has been held in many different locations over the years including the Hornblower Infinity Yacht, Hilton and Marriott.
The Gala in 2022 will be held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The formal event will take place from 6pm-11pm. There will be chef stations sponsored by different German Restaurants, butcher shops and caterers in the metropolitan area. Each station will be offering tastings of their personal specialties. A seated dinner and an open bar is also included.
The Gala in recent years has include a silent auction. The 2019 Auction featured 33 items which is the most we had ever had. Items included a West Elm Chair and Side Table, an autographed FC Bayern Jersey, a Wempe clock, a Freywille Bangle, a beer garden furniture set and many more. You must be present to bid on auction pieces.

At the Gala, as well as at the VIP Grandstands at the Parade, a journal is given out. The journal features a history of the Parade, words from our Executive Committee and local representatives as well as advertisements from our sponsors. Advertisements are available in the journal.
