13435395_10208497821737536_712401271532365549_nThis year’s Miss German-America is Rebecca Koehler. Rebecca, 21, served as a Princess for the 2015 German-American Steuben Parade. She feels this experience “will help [her] to represent the parade in a wonderful way.”
Ms. Koehler is from North Bergen, NJ. In her hometown, she lives a very philanthropic lifestyle. Her faith has played a large role in various volunteer activities. She is heavily involved in Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she is a youth leader.  She also spends her time volunteering at the Fritz Reuter Altenheim were she spends time with the residents who enjoy her company.
Currently, Rebecca is studying for a career in interior decorating and real estate photography at Penn Foster. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys trap shooting and has a great love for music. She plays piano, guitar and violin while also being treasurer of the New York Schuetzen Corps Ladies Auxilliary.

Rebecca’s strong desire to promote her German heritage is the reason she applied for the title of Miss German-America. She, along with her court, look forward to the German- American Steuben Parade on September 17th and to attending the many varied German-American events throughout her reign.
