Before you read any further, get your calendar and draw a red circle around Saturday, October 26, 2019. Not only is it Austrian National Day, it is the date of the First Burgenlander Austria SC Katharina Fest. This year’s Fest will be one that you won’t want to miss because –
– the Bishop of Burgenland with an entourage of Dignitaries from Burgenland will once again be joining us;
the date has been changed from our usual November date to accommodate the Bishop’s schedule;
– the Katharina Fest will be held in a brand new venue, Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square, where the Grand Ballroom has been totally renovated;
– there will be many new and exciting dinner and appetizer choices for your culinary pleasure;
– and our favorite band, the Heimat Klaenge from Philadelphia will once again keep your dancing feet happy.
