2019 celebrated the 62nd Annual German-American Steuben Parade on 5th Avenue in NYC. The Grand Marshal was Ambassador from Germany to the US Emily Haber along with Special Guests Brigadier General Frank Graefe, Peter Beyer and Guest Performer Takeo Ischi. The Parade consisted of 9 Divisions, 19 Floats and 6 American Local Marching Bands. The Committee welcomed over 300 participating groups from NY, NJ, CT, IL, MA, MD, PA, TX and OR. There were 15 Groups from Germany and 2 from Austria. We had over 570 German/Austrian marchers with an additional 75 seated in our grandstand. The night before the Parade is a fundraising Gala and Silent Auction which took place at The Lighthouse with over 300 guests.
